Tangled is Disney's reinterpretation of the beautiful fairy tale, Rapunzel. However, instead of Rapunzel being the typical damsel in distress, she is an independent powerful woman... with a frying pan.
Flynn Rider, a 'wanted' thief, stumbles upon the tower that Rapunzel has been enclosed for her 18 years. Rider is blackmailed into taking Rapunzel to the city to see the yearly lanterns. Tangled is a tale of a girl turning from a child into an adult, and experiencing everything for the first time.
I adore this film, it is hilarious, look out for the little chameleon and the angry horse. The one bit of criticism is that the song 'mother knows best' was just plain terrible. If that was taken out it would be perfect!
I rate Tangled as 8/10.
